Shree Synthetics

Shree Synthetics is based in Surat, right in the Girdhardwar Society on Udhna Magdalla Road. This part of Surat is always busy because of all the textile businesses around here. We are located in the Division 3 area, just behind China Town. Our space is usually full of synthetic fabrics and different types of yarn. It can get quite cramped when a new delivery arrives, and we have to move things around just to find a place to sit. The traffic outside on Udhna Magdalla Road is almost never-ending, so there is always a background hum of horns and engines. We have been in this society for a long time, and the neighbors are all doing similar kinds of work. Inside the office, it’s mostly just shelves piled high with samples and rolls of cloth. We spend our days talking to traders and checking the quality of the materials. The lights in the warehouse area are a bit dim, but we know where everything is by heart. It’s a bit of a dusty job, and by the end of the day, we usually have bits of thread stuck to our clothes. We don't have a website or any of that, just our address and the contacts we’ve built up over decades. It’s just how we do things here in the Surat textile market, keeping it simple and focusing on the goods.
