Usha Die Casting Industries

Usha Die Casting Industries has been operating out of the Sachin GIDC area in Surat, India, for quite a long time now. Our workshop is located at 7405/ 1 on Road No 73/ 6, right in the thick of the industrial zone. Most days it gets pretty loud around here because the machines are always running, but that is just part of working with die casting. The heat from the furnaces is something you eventually get used to, even in the middle of a Gujarat summer. We mostly deal with aluminum and zinc parts here. Our place isn't some fancy setup with a big reception area or shiny floors. Most of the space is taken up by the casting machines and the stacks of molds we use for different jobs. People usually find us when they need a specific part made and they want someone local who knows the process. We spend a lot of our time checking the pours and making sure the metal fills the die correctly. If a part comes out wrong, we have to figure out why and fix it before the next run. Our workers have been with us for years and they know how to handle the equipment. This is dirty, physical work that keeps us busy from morning until late. We just try to keep the machines in good shape and get the orders ready for whoever is picking them up. There is always a lot of dust and the smell of hot metal. Sometimes it's a struggle, but we keep going.
