Our office is in shop 204 at Uniyon Hights, which is right next to the Rahul Raj Mall in Surat. It is a very busy area with lots of people shopping and moving around all day. SHREE SHAILAM INFRASTRUCTURE PRIVATE LIMITED has been based here for a bit now. Being so close to the mall means there is always somewhere to grab a quick tea or lunch between meetings. We focus on infrastructure projects which usually means big jobs with lots of moving parts. The office is where we do all the planning and try to keep the various schedules from falling apart. Construction is a messy business and we often bring a bit of the site dust back into the office with us. We have a small staff that handles the billing, the site management, and all the legal stuff that goes into building things in the city. Surat is a fast-paced place and we have to work hard to keep up with everything. Most of our time is spent on the phone or driving between different locations to make sure the work is being done right. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just know us from the projects we have finished around town over the years. It is a practical way to run a business and it seems to work okay for us in the long run without being flashy.
