Shree Sai Communication

Life in Ambheta 10 is pretty quiet compared to the city. Shree Sai Communication is where folks come when they need to sort out their bills or pick up a new SIM card. I’ve been sitting behind this counter for a long time now. The walls are covered with posters for different data plans that change almost every month. I try to keep up with them so I can explain the differences to the older folks who live around here. The shop has a big glass window that looks out onto the street. I watch the cows go by and the neighbors walking to the market. It’s a slow pace. We have some basic phones, the ones with buttons that last forever, and some newer smartphones too. Most people just want something that works. I keep a jar of candy on the counter for the kids who come in with their parents. Sometimes I’m just helping someone figure out how to send a photo on WhatsApp. It’s not just about selling stuff; it’s about being helpful. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because people bring in a lot of dust from the road. When it rains, we just sit and listen to the water hitting the roof. It’s a small place, but it’s ours, and it fits right in here in Ambheta. We don't need much more than that.
