Down at Kadodara 416, the traffic never really seems to stop. Shree Mobile is right in the middle of all that noise. I open up early because workers passing through often need a quick recharge or a new pair of earphones before their shift starts. The shop is small, just enough space for the counters and a couple of people to stand. I’ve got cables hanging from hooks on the wall and a stack of boxes behind me. Sometimes the air conditioner struggles when it’s really hot outside, so we keep the door propped open a bit. People from the nearby apartments come by for tempered glass or to complain about their battery dying too fast. I spend a lot of time peeling off old screen guards and lining up new ones perfectly. It’s satisfying when it goes on without any bubbles. My chair is a bit squeaky, but it’s comfortable enough for a long day. We don't do anything fancy here. If a phone is broken, I tell them if I can fix it or if it’s better to just get a new one. Honesty works better than anything else in Kadodara. By the time evening rolls around, the streetlights come on and the shop feels a bit cozier. I usually close up once the foot traffic dies down and head home to do it all again tomorrow. It's just a regular day for us here.
