Shivam Colors

We are located at Plot No. 5/1112 in the Haripura area. Most people find us easily since we are right near Somnath Mahadev Sheri. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. My family started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves. We handle a lot of different pigments and dyes every day. The walls inside the shop have some stains from the spills over the years, but that just shows how much work gets done. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty around here, especially when the wind picks up in the Residency Area. We open up early most mornings and stay until the sun goes down. People from the neighborhood stop by to ask for specific shades or just to say hello. We don’t have fancy displays or a big reception desk. It’s just us and the stock we keep on the shelves. Most days are pretty much the same, filling orders and checking the inventory. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of containers get a little high. If you walk past the Somnath Mahadev temple, you’ll see our gate just down the lane. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. New buildings go up and old ones get repaired. We just keep doing what we do. It isn't a glamorous job but it keeps us busy and we know the locals well. That’s about all there is to it really.
