Over at Bonandh Raziapir 8201/1, we run Mangalam Intermediates. It is more of a warehouse and workspace than a shop. We handle a lot of materials here, so there is always a bit of a smell in the air—nothing bad, just the smell of industry. We wear our work clothes and spend most of the day moving things around or checking the drums. The floor is concrete and can be quite cold in the mornings. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep the records and handle the logistics. Raziapir is a bit out of the way, but it is a good spot for what we do because we need the space. Large trucks come in and out a couple of times a week, which makes the whole place shake a bit. We do not have many walk-in visitors; it is mostly scheduled pickups and deliveries. We have been here for a few years now, and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the place. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, so we have to move some of the stock to the middle of the room. It is just how things are. We work hard, take our breaks under the shade of the tree outside, and make sure the orders are ready on time. There is no fancy lobby or receptionist here, just us getting the work done.
