We've been over here at Plot 251 in the Gidc area for a long time now. Dealing with dyes is messy business and your hands usually stay stained half the week, but it is just what we do every day. We mostly focus on getting the colors right for the textile folks and whoever else in the area needs them for their products. The factory floor is always busy, especially in the early mornings when we get the new batches started in the vats. It is not a fancy place by any means, just a lot of big tanks and mixing equipment and bags of powder stacked up. Most of us working here have been around for years, so we know how the machines sound when they are running right. People stop by the small office sometimes and it is usually just to check on a late order or talk about the specific shade of a batch. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, but the ventilation is okay enough to get through the shift. We do not really do any advertising because most people in the industrial estate already know where to find us. We just try to keep things consistent so the customers do not have a reason to complain. Dealing with all these chemicals means we have to be real careful with the safety stuff, so that takes up a good chunk of our time. It is honest work and it keeps us busy.
