Shiv Tela Private Limited

Varachha Road is always a busy stretch of road in Surat. Our place, Shiv Tela Private Limited, is tucked away in Dharmishtha Park Society. It is on Plot 33 in the 52/B area. Working out of a society like this is a bit different than being in one of the big textile markets. It is a little quieter, but we still have trucks coming and going quite often. We have been here for a while and the neighbors are used to us by now. The office is not very big, just enough space for the paperwork and some samples of what we handle. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just checking the shipments that arrive. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but we manage to get things through. It is a practical setup for us. We don't need a fancy showroom. Most of our work is just coordinating and making sure the cloth gets where it needs to go. My desk is usually covered in notes and tea cups. There are days when everything is moving at once and others where we are just waiting on a delivery. It’s a standard local business life here. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy for the workers to get to and it feels more like a neighborhood.
