SHANVI WEAVES PRIVATE LIMITED

We’re over at the Kohinoor Market on Ring Road. It’s a pretty busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get their stuff moved. Our place takes up a few different shop numbers—802 through 804 and then some more across at 847 to 849. It might seem a bit spread out but it works for us. Most days it’s just us handling the fabrics and keeping track of the weaves. We’ve been here in Surat for a while now. The market can get a bit loud with all the trucks and people, but that’s just how it is here. Usually, someone is always around the shops if you’re looking for us. We handle the textile side of things, mostly focusing on the weaving part of the process. It’s a lot of manual work and checking rolls of cloth. Sometimes the traffic on Ring Road is a nightmare, so we try to get most things done before the rush really hits. We aren't a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done and try to keep our orders organized. Sometimes we have tea outside while waiting for deliveries. It’s a simple setup. If you know the 395002 area, you know how packed these markets get. We just stick to our corner and keep moving. It's not a glamorous job but it pays the bills.
