You can find us in the GIDC area of Pandesara. Our unit is C-1-B-98 and we have been here for a while. Being in the industrial estate means we are surrounded by other factories and plants. It is a very busy part of Surat, especially during the shift changes when everyone is on the move. We do weaving here at Sattva Weaves. The machines make a lot of noise, so it is never really quiet in our part of the building. We have got a team of people who really know how to handle the looms. It is not glamorous work at all. It is hot and there is often a lot of lint in the air, but we get the job done. We have been operating out of this GIDC plot for a few years now. We do not have a fancy reception area or a place for visitors to sit. If you come by, you will likely see us on the floor checking the fabric as it comes off the machines. We focus on making sure the patterns are right and the tension is okay. We deal with bulk orders mostly. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving crates around the floor. We take our breaks together and talk about the day. It is a very straightforward business. We do not use big words to describe what we do. We just weave cloth and try to stay on our schedule.
