Our shop is inside the Radha Krishna Tex Market in the Begampura area. It is Shop 103 and 104 on the ground floor of Row B/3. If you know this market, you know how crowded it gets. There are always people carrying heavy bundles of cloth on their shoulders and delivery guys pushing carts through the narrow lanes. It is a noisy place and the lighting inside the market isn’t always great. We have been working from this spot for a while. There is not much room for a desk or anything, so we mostly just stand around or sit on the stools near the fabric stacks. We deal with synthetic fabrics, mostly. The shelves are always packed from the floor to the ceiling. Sometimes it is hard to find a specific roll because things get moved around so much during the day. Begampura is a very old part of the city and the traffic outside is always a headache. But this is where the business happens. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and checking what orders came in. By the evening, the whole place is a bit of a mess with loose threads and plastic wrap everywhere. It is just the way it works in a busy textile market. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of guys to help with the loading.
