Sandipani Education

Sandipani Education is located at 5-Jamuna Palace in the Mota Varachha area. We are directly opposite the State Bank of India, which makes it a very easy landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Krishna Township is also just a short walk away. The building is usually quite busy since it is in a developing part of Surat. We have a modest setup inside with a few classrooms that we keep as tidy as possible, though with so many students coming through, there’s always a stray pen or a piece of paper on the floor. We work through the day, starting when the sun is just coming up and staying until the streetlights in Mota Varachha come on. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we do make sure that the work gets done. There is a lot of back-and-forth between the staff and the students as they go over their notes. We have some basic computer equipment for some of the work and a lot of printed notes piled up on the shelves. Being near the bank means there’s a lot of activity outside, but once you step into Jamuna Palace, it feels like a proper place for learning. We’ve been part of this community for a bit now and we see many familiar faces from the nearby township every single day. It’s just our daily life here, helping out with education in our own small way.
