This Samsung outlet is right in the middle of Ramnagar, over at Nawa Madhupura Market 4. If you know the market, you know it’s always packed with people looking for all kinds of things. Our shop is just one of many along the row, and we spend most of our time behind the counter dealing with phones and tablets. It’s a small space, so things can feel a bit cramped when a few customers come in at once. We get a lot of people asking about the latest models or needing help because they dropped their phone and cracked the screen. The market outside is always noisy with vendors calling out and people haggling over prices, which you can hear even when the door is shut. We keep the shelves lined with boxes and have a little area in the back where we look at the devices that need fixing. It’s not like those big corporate stores you see in the malls. This is a local market shop, so we know a lot of the other shopkeepers around Nawa Madhupura. We usually have a bit of a rush in the evenings when people are heading home from work and want to pick something up. It’s a lot of repetitive work, explaining the same features or troubleshooting the same software issues, but it keeps the lights on. We just try to stay on top of the stock and keep things moving.
