Sai Telecom

This Sai Telecom is over on Tankshal road, number 16 in Adajan Dn. It’s a different vibe from the other spots. The road is a bit narrower here and the building is older. We have a counter right at the front where we talk to people. There are always a few phones taken apart on the workspace in the back. Tankshal road has its own rhythm and we’ve become a part of it over the years. We sell some accessories and help people with their mobile connections. It’s not a large operation. Just a couple of desks and some shelving units we put up ourselves. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint but we haven't found the time. We are usually too busy trying to find specific parts for older phone models that people still use. It gets busy during the evenings when everyone is heading home. We stay open late most nights to make sure we finish the repairs. Sometimes we stay and talk with the other business owners on the block after we close. There’s a lot of repetitive work, like putting on screen protectors or fixing charging ports, but it’s what we do. We don't have a website or anything, people just find us at number 16. It is just a regular shop doing regular work for the neighborhood.
