Sahaj Study Centre

Our study centre is tucked away in the Vinayak Shopping Centre, specifically in shops 21 and 22. We are right on Varachha Road in Surat, just across from Matru Chhaya in the Chikuwadi neighborhood. It is a very busy part of town, so there is always the sound of horns and people talking outside our door. Inside, we have tried to make a space that is good for focusing, even if it is a bit cramped when the bigger groups arrive. We have been running things here for quite a long time now. The furniture isn't brand new, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works just fine for what we do. We don’t bother with fancy brochures or big sales pitches. Most of the parents just walk in because they live nearby and want someone to help their kids with their homework or exam prep. We spend our days explaining the same math problems or science chapters, and we don't mind it. Sometimes the markers run out of ink right in the middle of a lesson, which is always a bit annoying, but we keep extras in the drawer. We know the other shop owners in the building and often say hello while we're grabbing a quick water break. It is a very normal, local business with no bells or whistles. We just focus on the books and the students until it is time to lock up and go home.
