Riya Enterprise

Riya Enterprise is just our little place over in Athwa Silver Market. It’s been here for a while now. Most days it’s pretty loud outside with the market crowd and the rickshaws always honking. We get to the shop early, usually around nine, and start getting things ready for whatever the day brings. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much stuff piled up, but we know where everything is. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to actually do it. Customers wander in and out from the market. Some are regulars who have been coming to us for years and others are just passing through. We don’t do anything fancy here, just the work that needs doing. Sometimes the electricity acts up in the afternoons, so we just sit outside on the stools for a bit until it comes back on. That’s when we talk to the neighbors about the weather or how busy the street is. It isn’t a corporate office with air conditioning and fancy chairs. It’s just where we spend our time trying to make a living. We try to keep things simple and honest. If you’re ever walking through the Silver Market, you’ll likely see us there behind the counter, probably drinking some tea and looking at some paperwork. That’s basically us in a nutshell and how we operate every day.
