You can find us in the Radha Krishna Textile Market on Ring Road. We are in the 2088 to 2091 block. This market is always packed. From early morning, you see laborers carrying huge bundles of sarees and dress materials on their backs. Our space is filled with stacks of fabric. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped, but that is just how it is in Surat’s textile markets. We spend our time showing samples to people and taking orders. There is a lot of talk about prices and quality all day long. It’s a very hands-on business. We don't use fancy software for everything; a lot of things are still written down in ledgers. The fans are always on because it gets stuffy with so much cloth around. When it rains, the Ring Road gets quite messy, but work doesn't stop. We have our regulars who come in every few weeks. We don't do much fancy marketing. People know us because we’ve been in this spot for a while. We drink a lot of tea to stay sharp during the busy hours. It’s a bit chaotic, but we know where everything is. The shop is our second home. We just try to get the orders packed and sent out as fast as we can.
