Richa Telecom

Richa Telecom is tucked away in Udhnagam 28. If you look for the shop, it is not very hard to find once you get into the main lane of the neighborhood. We deal with all the usual telecom stuff that people need every day, mostly phone recharges and some of the basic handsets that folks around here use for work. The glass counter has a few deep scratches on it from years of people sliding coins and phones across the surface. We have a lot of posters on the walls from the different network companies, and some of them have gotten a bit faded from the sun hitting them all afternoon. It is a neighborhood spot, really. People stop by not just for their phone data but just to say hello while they are out doing their grocery marketing. We have a small plastic stool in the corner if someone needs to wait while a recharge goes through or if their new SIM card is taking a while to activate. Udhnagam can get pretty dusty in the summer, so I am always wiping down the display cases with an old rag. My younger brother helps me out in the evenings when he is finished with his other jobs. We keep the place open until late because that is when most people are coming home from the factories and realize they have run out of balance on their phones. It is not a massive store, but it does the job for everyone living on this block. We just try to keep the basic things in stock.
