You can find RBC Global Advisors Private Limited at B-1/3016 on the mezzanine floor of the Regent Textile Market. If you’ve ever been to Ring Road in Surat, you know how crazy it gets there. It’s one of the busiest streets you’ll ever see, packed with shops and people. Our office is tucked away up on the mezzanine, which gives us a little bit of a break from the noise on the ground floor. It’s a small space, filled with desks, chairs, and lots of folders. As advisors, we spend most of our time looking at papers and talking to clients about their business needs. It’s not a fancy consulting firm like you’d find in a skyscraper. We are right here in the middle of the market because that’s where our clients are. We see the struggle of the daily trade and we try to help out with the advisory side of things. The light in the office isn't great, and we usually have the air conditioning running full blast to deal with the Surat humidity. We aren't here to give big presentations. We just sit down with people, have some chai, and look at their numbers. It’s a very local way of doing things.
