Limbayat is a crowded area, and our shop fits right in with the rest of the buildings here. We’ve been at this spot for some time, mostly dealing with phones that people bring in when they aren't working right. It’s a small space, so if three or four people come in at once, it feels very full. I usually sit behind the main counter near the window so I can see who’s coming down the street. We have a lot of used phones in the display case that people like to look at. They always want to know if the camera is good or how long the battery will last. I spend a lot of time explaining the same things over and over, but that’s just part of the daily job. The fan on the ceiling makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we don’t really notice it anymore. During the monsoon, the rain splashes against the front door, and we have to move the display racks back a bit to keep them dry. It’s a quiet life in some ways, even with all the noise from the traffic outside. We know most of the people who walk past every day. They might stop for a quick recharge or just to ask what time it is. We don't have any big signs or bright flashing lights, just the name on the front and our tools inside. It gets the job done.
