Rakesh Electronics & Mobile Shop

Rakesh Electronics & Mobile Shop is situated in Udhna, over in Shiv Shankar Nagar. It’s a residential area mostly, so we get a lot of families coming in. The shop is a bit of a mix of everything electronics. We have some old parts in the back that we haven't touched in years, but you never know when someone might need a specific cable for an old radio. The front of the shop is where we keep the mobile stuff because that’s what people ask for the most these days. It gets a bit crowded in here on Saturday mornings when everyone is off work. We have a small television in the corner that we keep on the news, mostly just for the noise. The lighting in Shiv Shankar Nagar can be a bit dim at night, so we make sure our front light is always working so people can see we are open. We’ve had a few leaks in the ceiling when the monsoon hits hard, so we have to move the stock around to keep it dry. It’s a bit of a hassle, but that’s just how it goes with an older building. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us in this one room, doing the work and trying to make sure we don’t lose any small screws.
