If you walk down Narayannagar Road toward the Ravindranath Tagore Society, you’ll find us easy enough. We have been here in Salabatpura for quite some time now. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but it gets the job done. Most of the morning is spent checking the internet connection and making sure the recharge vouchers are ready to go. People around here are always in a hurry. They come in for a quick top-up on their way to work or stop by because their phone isn't charging right. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front window. I usually keep a fan running, but it doesn't do much for the heat. We have shelves filled with different cases and screen guards, though they tend to get disorganized when things get busy. I try to keep everything tidy, but sometimes there just isn't time. It’s just me and my brother most days. We grew up around here, so we talk to the neighbors a lot. It’s a quiet enough spot until the evening rush starts. We don't do anything fancy like the big malls. If a phone is beyond saving, I’ll tell you straight. No point in wasting money on something that won't last. We just keep things simple and try to help the folks who live in the society and the surrounding streets. It's a small life but it's ours.
