We are based in the Aashirwad Textile Market, which is in the Saroli area of Surat. Our shop is C-141. If you have ever been to Saroli, you know it is one of those places that never really stops moving. There are always people carrying bundles of silk and other fabrics through the narrow corridors. Our shop isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. We keep the rolls of silk stacked high, and there is usually just enough room for us to sit and talk to whoever comes in. We don't use any big words or have a complicated way of doing things. It is just a matter of showing the material, talking about the price, and getting the delivery sorted. The lighting in the market isn't always the best, but we know our stuff well enough to work in any condition. It gets quite busy during the festival seasons, and we end up staying late quite often to get everything packed. We are just regular people working in the silk trade. We don't have a website with fancy photos or anything. Most of our work comes from people who know where we are in the market and just drop by for a chat and to see what we have on the shelves.
