We are sitting in Shop No.2037 at the Silk City Textile Market right on Ring Road. It’s always busy here in Surat. Most days start with opening up the shutters and seeing the delivery guys already moving rolls of fabric. There’s a lot of noise from the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a while. Our spot isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. We've been in this part of town for a bit now. Sometimes the elevator in the market is slow, so we just take the stairs. It keeps us moving. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat or to check on an order. We handle a bit of everything when it comes to trade. It’s mostly paperwork, phone calls, and making sure things get where they need to go on time. The tea stall downstairs is where we spend our breaks. It's not a fancy setup. Just a regular workplace with desks, some samples lying around, and a computer that’s seen better days. We don't really do the whole big corporate thing. It's just us doing the daily grind in the middle of the textile hub. Sometimes it’s chaotic when the new stocks arrive, and we have to shuffle things around to find space. But that's just how things go in this market. We stay focused on the tasks in front of us and try to keep things organized despite the constant rush of the Ring Road.
