If you know anything about Surat, you know the Ring Road is the heart of the textile world here. It is incredibly crowded and loud, especially in the mornings when all the shops are opening up. Our shop is just one of many in the market, and it’s usually packed with samples and ledgers. We don't have much room for a lobby or anything like that. It’s a workspace, plain and simple. We spend our hours talking to vendors and checking on stock. My brother and I run the place with a couple of helpers. We don't have a polished website or a fancy logo. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been in the market for years and people know who we are. Some days the traffic on Ring Road is so bad it takes an hour just to get a few blocks, but that’s life in Surat. We don't try to sound like a big corporation because we aren't. We’re just a local shop trying to make a living in the textile trade. We’ve had our share of ups and downs, but we’re still here.
