Prs Dance Academy

Prs Dance Academy is located right on Ghod Dod Road in Surat. We are in the Priyanka Intercity building, at number 13. It’s a pretty busy part of town with a lot of shops and people always moving about. Our space is usually filled with the sound of music and the thumping of feet on the floor. It’s not a massive studio, but we’ve got enough room to move and practice. We started this because we just enjoy the whole process of dancing and showing others how it’s done. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just open up, put on the music, and get to work. The mirrors are usually covered in fingerprints by the end of the day, and the floor gets pretty scuffed up, but that’s a good sign. It means people are actually using the space. We get all sorts of folks coming in, some who are really good and others who have two left feet. It doesn't really matter as long as they are moving. We’ve been at Priyanka Intercity for a while now, and it’s a good spot for us. The afternoon sun hits the windows, so it can get a bit warm, but we don't mind it much. We aren't trying to be the biggest academy in India. We just like what we do here in Surat. It’s a lot of sweat and repeats, but it’s honest fun.
