Prakash Chemicals

Our place is located in the Green Park Industrial Estate, which is right off Unn Sachin Road. If you know the area, you know it is mostly warehouses and manufacturing units around here. Prakash Chemicals has been operating from this site for some time. The industrial estate gets pretty packed with trucks during the day, so getting in and out can be a bit of a challenge if you don't know the shortcuts. We spend most of our time managing the stock and talking to suppliers. The warehouse floor is where most of the action happens. It isn't the quietest place to work, but we are used to the sounds of the neighboring factories by now. We focus on keeping things moving. Every morning we open up the shutters and start looking over what needs to go out. The guys working here are from the local area, and we have a decent routine going. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. It is a functional space for a chemical business. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when things settle down for a bit. The Unn Sachin Road is always busy, which keeps us feeling connected to the rest of the city even though we are tucked away in the estate. We just handle the orders and keep the paperwork in order. It is simple work, really. We just take it as it comes and try to be helpful when people call.
