Pragati Texchem

Our place, Pragati Texchem, is located near Mhatre Bridge in the City Center area, right by where the Sosyo factory is. It’s a busy part of Surat, so there is always noise from the traffic and people moving around. We deal with a lot of different things related to textiles and chemicals, which means the office often smells a bit like industrial supplies. It’s not a fancy office with leather chairs. We have some old desks and a lot of paperwork stacked up because things move fast here. Being at unit 509 means we see a lot of people coming and going through the building. Sometimes the lift doesn't work right, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to people who drop by with questions about their orders. It gets dusty in the summer and a bit damp when the rains hit Surat, but we just keep working through it. We aren't a huge operation with hundreds of people. It’s just a handful of us trying to make sure the supplies get where they need to go. There isn't much to say about it other than we show up, do the work, and go home. If you're looking for us, look for the Sosyo sign nearby and you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a practical spot for a business like ours.
