Down on Udhna Sumul Dairy Road 3, you'll find us at Pooja Electronics Mobile Point. It's a busy spot with trucks and bikes going by all the time. I usually get here around nine and start by wiping down the glass counters. There’s always dust coming in from the road. Most of our day is spent looking at cracked screens or trying to figure out why a phone won't charge anymore. We have a lot of small bins filled with screws and spare parts. It’s easy to lose track of time when you’re concentrating on a tiny component. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a short break. People from the nearby dairy often drop in. They usually have some trouble with their dual-sim settings or need a new screen protector put on. We aren't doing anything fancy here. Just sitting at the bench with our tools. The walls have a few old posters that have been there for years. We keep a stock of basic chargers and cables hanging on the wall hooks. It gets a bit hot in the afternoon when the sun hits the front of the shop. We just turn the fan up and keep working. It's a straightforward life, really. Dealing with people’s gadgets and making sure everything is back in one piece before they come to pick it up.
