Phone Mart

Phone Mart is located at 253/54 on Varachha Road. It’s a pretty busy stretch of road with a lot going on, so we get a fair amount of foot traffic. The shop is basically one long room with glass counters on both sides. We try to keep a good variety of the latest models, but sometimes it’s hard to keep up with how fast everything changes. I spend my days explaining the difference between various phone cameras and battery sizes to people who aren’t really sure what they want. It’s a lot of talking, really. The floor is tiled and I try to mop it every morning, but by midday, it’s already got tracks from everyone coming in. We have a small back room where we keep the extra stock and where we take our lunch breaks. Varachha Road is always loud, and the sound of the traffic just becomes part of the day. I’ve been working here for a while, and I’ve seen a lot of different phones come and go. We don't do anything too fancy, just sell the phones and help people put their SIM cards in. Sometimes a customer comes back because they forgot their password, and we try to help them out if we can. It’s just a standard shop at 253/54, and we stay open until fairly late in the evening to catch the people heading home from work.
