Om Orthopaedic & Maternity Hospital is over in Parvat Patia. We are on the third floor of the Shiv Darshan Complex. If you are looking for us, we are right across from the TVS Auto Point. It’s a busy intersection and there’s always a lot of movement outside. Our hospital is a bit of a mix because we handle both bone issues and maternity cases. So you might see someone on crutches in the hallway and then see a new mother with her baby in the next room. It makes for an interesting atmosphere. Being on the third floor, we have to make sure the elevator is always working for our patients. The complex itself has a lot of other businesses, so there are always people coming and going. Inside the hospital, we have the wards and the labor rooms. It’s not a fancy place with high-end furniture. We use simple metal beds and standard medical equipment that gets the job done. Our nurses are usually running around between the different sections. Some nights are very quiet and other nights we don’t get any sleep at all. That’s just the way it is with maternity work. We don’t do a lot of advertising. Most people come to us because they live in Parvat Patia and they know where Shiv Darshan is. We just try to keep things running smoothly for everyone who walks through the door and needs our help.
