Our hospital is located on the first floor of the Gopal Darshan Complex in Katargam. We are situated right across from the Paras Police Chowki, which is a very easy landmark to find. Because we specialize in orthopaedics and trauma, we see a lot of people who have had accidents or broken bones. Being near a main road in Katargam means we are often busy with emergency cases. The facility has an X-ray room and a small operating theater for fixing fractures. Since we are on the first floor, we have a lift for patients who can't walk, which is most of them given our specialty. The hallways are often filled with people on crutches or in wheelchairs. It’s not a quiet place, as there’s always a lot of activity. We don't have a fancy lobby with sofas; it’s just sturdy chairs that are easy to clean. The doctors here are usually busy in surgery or checking on patients in the small ward. We don't do general medicine or handle things like fevers. We just focus on bones and trauma. We’ve been in this complex for several years and are well-known in the Katargam area. We don't do any big advertising or have a slick website. Most people come to us because we are the nearest place for an injury or they know us from the neighborhood. It’s tough work, but seeing someone walk again is the reason we stay.
