Mehta Orthopaedic Hospital & Medical Center

We are at 101/2 Swapnadeep Apartment, which is near the Althan Tenament. Mehta Orthopaedic Hospital & Medical Center is right opposite Sarvodaya School on Bhatar Road in Althann. It is a bit of a mouthful of an address, but once you get to Bhatar Road, you can't miss the school. We are mostly about bones and joints here. People come in with sprains, breaks, or just old knees that don't work like they used to. The apartment building houses the clinic on the lower levels. It is a residential area mostly, so it stays relatively quiet except when the school bell rings and the kids are everywhere. We have some space for X-rays and a few rooms for people who need to stay after a procedure. The hallways are wide enough for wheelchairs and stretchers, which is important for what we do. It isn't a shiny new medical tower, just a functional space where we help people get moving again. The staff wears comfortable shoes because they are on their feet all day. We see a lot of sports injuries and also a lot of elderly folks from the tenements nearby. Dealing with bones takes time, so people spend a good amount of time in our waiting area. We try to keep things simple and direct. No big fuss, just medicine and recovery. It is a busy place but we keep it organized.
