Om Mobile

Om Mobile is found in the Surat Bhandup Industrial Estate on L B S Marg. Our location is a bit industrial, so our customers are mostly people who work in the nearby units. They come to us when their phone screen shatters or when they need a new charger because their old one broke at the factory. We keep a good stock of sturdy phone cases because of where we are located. Phones take a beating around here. We have a small area in the back with a soldering station and some diagnostic tools. It’s not a quiet place, as you can always hear the hum of machinery from the nearby buildings. We sell a lot of prepaid vouchers and sim cards. The counter is made of simple plywood and has seen better days, but it does the job. We don’t put on any airs about what we do. It’s just straightforward repair and sales. Sometimes we have to explain that a phone can't be fixed because the motherboard is fried, and that’s never a fun conversation. But we try to be as helpful as we can. The coffee shop next door brings us a drink now and then. We’ve been here since the estate was a bit newer, and we’ve watched it grow. It’s a gritty part of town, but it’s where we belong. It's just a regular shop for regular folks.
