Nishu Chemicals Ltd.

Nishu Chemicals Ltd. is based in Surat, inside E-1002 Shantideep Residency. It might seem a bit strange to have a chemical company address in a residency building, but that is how we have it set up. We are right behind Green Avenue in the Pal area. Most of our work is done on the computer or over the phone. We don’t keep big vats of chemicals here, obviously. It’s more about the logistics and the trading side of things. The office is basically a flat that we’ve filled with filing cabinets and a few desks. Gujarat is a busy place for business, and Surat is no exception. We are constantly tracking shipments and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, which is a bit of a pain when we are in a hurry. We don’t have a big staff, just a few people who have been with us for years. We know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and the items get delivered. It’s a practical way to run a business. We usually finish up by evening and head home like everyone else in the building. It’s just our little corner of Surat, and we've been here for a good while now.
