Nirmaan Architects & Interior Designers

Nirmaan Architects & Interior Designers is over at Nanpura C/610. It’s an older building, which gives it a bit of character, though the stairs can be a workout if you’re not used to them. Inside, the office is pretty much what you’d expect from a place that does both architecture and interiors. There are stacks of paper everywhere, mostly floor plans and electrical layouts. We have a big table in the middle where we spread everything out to look at it all at once. It’s usually a bit of a mess with pens, rulers, and coffee mugs scattered around. We spend our days going back and forth between the computer and the drawing board. The neighborhood is lively, so there’s always a good spot nearby to grab a quick bite when we’re working through lunch. We don’t have a flashy showroom; we usually just show clients our progress on the screen or with physical samples we have in the cupboard. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everyone is talking at once about a design problem, but we usually figure it out eventually. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We’ve been at this Nanpura location for a while, and we’ve gotten used to the way the light comes in through the side window in the afternoon. It’s just a group of us trying to do decent work and keeping the projects on track.
