Akash Architect

I’m usually at the desk in Nanpura B 408 most mornings. Akash Architect is basically just me and a couple of others trying to keep up with all the paperwork and the drawings. Nanpura is a bit of an older area, but I like it. The office is on the fourth floor, so the stairs can be a bit much if the elevator is acting up again. It happens more than I’d like. Inside, it’s mostly just computers and some old drafting tables we still keep for some reason. Maybe we just like the look of them. I spend a lot of time on the phone with people from the city or guys out at the sites. It’s not very glamorous work, honestly. Lots of checking codes and making sure the lines on the paper match what's actually on the ground. We don’t have a receptionist or anything. If the door is open, you just walk in. I might be busy with a ruler or staring at a screen, but that’s just how it is. Sometimes the office gets messy with all the rolled-up plans, but we know where everything is. Mostly. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We don't spend much on decor because we're usually too busy thinking about other people's buildings. That’s us at B 408. Just a regular bunch of people trying to make sense of floor plans and structural beams every day.
