Nilkanth Offset is located over in Khatodara, right near the Bijli Ghar in the Kothi Mohalla area. We are at G/19. If you walk into the shop, the first thing you notice is the smell of ink and the sound of the machines running. It’s a bit loud sometimes but that is just how it is when you are printing. We have been in this spot for a good bit of time. The floor usually has some scraps of paper on it by the end of the day despite our best efforts to sweep up. We handle a lot of different paper stocks and sizes. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend an hour getting things back in order, which can be frustrating when there is a lot to do. Our neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all kind of know each other. The light coming in through the front isn't great, so we keep the overhead ones on all day. It’s not a big corporate office with carpets; it’s more of a workspace where things actually get done. People bring in their files and we see what we can do with the plates and the press. We don't have a big fancy reception area, just a desk where we talk to whoever walks in. It stays busy enough to keep us on our toes from morning until we close up the shop.
