This shop is at 155 Thakorji Complex in the Wanawadi-Kondhwa area of Kadodara. It is a busy complex with a lot of different shops, so there is always noise and people walking past the window. I have a small corner where I do the repairs. The shelves are a bit cluttered with old watch faces and straps that I might need one day. I have been doing this for years, and my eyes aren't as good as they used to be, but I have my glasses. People come in with all kinds of problems. Sometimes it is just a dead battery, other times the glass is smashed. I have a lot of spare parts in labeled boxes, though sometimes the labels don't match what is inside anymore. It is a bit disorganized, but I know where everything is. The heat in Kadodara can be tough in the summer, so I work a bit slower then. I don't have any fancy corporate ideas. I just open the shop, fix what comes in, and go home. Some days I spend more time talking to the other shop owners in the complex than I do fixing watches. It is a community thing. I like being part of the daily rhythm here. It is just a small place trying to do a decent job for the neighborhood.
