Our place is in Iraniwadi, on Hemukalani Road No 3 in Rander. It is a bit tucked away, but once you find the sign, you are there. The shop is filled with the sound of many clocks ticking at different times, which some people find annoying, but I don't even hear it anymore. I have a lot of old parts stored in tiny plastic drawers that I have organized over the years. People in Rander bring all sorts of things, from wall clocks that haven't worked since the nineties to new watches they bought online and don't know how to resize. I just sit there with my loupe and get to it. It is honest work. The shop is not modern. The paint is peeling a bit in the corner and the floor is worn down from years of people standing there. I usually have a cup of tea sitting on the edge of my workbench, getting cold while I struggle with a tiny screw. It is a quiet life for the most part. I like the mechanical side of things, seeing how the gears mesh together. It is a bit like a puzzle every time. I don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where I am and they come by when they need something fixed.
