Gautam Watch Co

Gautam Watch Co is located in Soham Society, right near the Telegraph Office 2nd Stage on Attur Main Road in Bhagal. It’s a nice little corner for a watch shop. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. The shop is filled with the sound of ticking clocks, which is something you just get used to after a while. We aren't a big company with many branches. It’s just this one shop where we take care of people’s timepieces. We spend a lot of time bent over a workbench with a magnifying glass. It’s quiet work that requires a bit of patience. The street outside can be busy, especially near the telegraph office, but inside it’s usually calm. We have a few old glass cases where we keep the watches we’ve for sale. They aren't the most modern displays, but they work fine. Most of our customers are neighbors or people who have been coming to us for decades. We don’t really do any advertising. People just know we are here. Sometimes someone will bring in an old heirloom for us to look at, and those are the best days. We just keep things simple and try to be helpful. It’s a small life, but it’s a good one. We like the rhythm of the day and the familiar faces that pop in to check the time or get a new strap.
