MRP WEAVES LLP

We are located at Plot No. 261 in the Old GIDC area of Katargam, right on Fulpada Road. This is an old part of the industrial zone, so the buildings have that worn-in look and the roads are pretty rough. MRP Weaves LLP operates from this plot, and you can hear the machines running from the moment you turn onto the street. It’s a loud place to work, with the constant rhythmic clicking and humming of the weaving process. The air inside always has a bit of lint floating around, no matter how much we clean. We spend our days walking between the machines and checking on the threads. It’s physical work and the floor is hard concrete. Outside, the Fulpada Road is usually packed with trucks and small tempos loading up goods. It’s not the kind of place where you’d come for a quiet chat. We mostly just focus on the production and making sure the looms are running right. There’s a small office area tucked away in one corner where we keep the books and take our lunch breaks. The heat can be something else during May and June, but we’ve got some big fans that help a little bit. It’s a straightforward setup without any bells or whistles. We’ve been in this spot for a while and we know all the other shop owners on the block. It’s just what we do here in Katargam.
