MORCHADI FABRICS LLP

We are based in E-709 at the Suryadarsan Appartment in Umra Mangrol. It’s not your typical storefront or factory floor. Instead, we run Morchadi Fabrics LLP from this apartment space. It can be a bit tight when we have a lot of fabric rolls coming in, but we make it work by staying organized. The Umra Mangrol area is a bit removed from the heavy industrial zones, so it’s got a different feel to it. You won't see big signs or flashy displays here. Most of our work involves checking the state of the fabrics and making sure everything is labeled correctly before it goes out. The elevator in the building is sometimes slow, so we end up waiting a lot when we have deliveries to move in or out. We spend a lot of time on our phones or at the table sorting through samples. The light coming through the windows in the afternoon is actually pretty good for seeing the true colors of the cloth. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things from being too quiet while we work. It’s just a handful of us here, and we know the routine pretty well by now. We deal with the usual stuff like power cuts or late deliveries without making much of a fuss. It’s a simple operation, really, just focused on getting the fabrics where they need to go from our little spot in Surat.
