Mobile Tech is our shop on Bhatar Road, specifically at L.B.S. Marg, Vikhroli West G-6. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the address to people, but once you find us, it’s easy. We are in the G-6 unit. It’s not the biggest space in the world, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. We’ve got shelves full of spare parts and tools for almost every kind of phone out there. The L.B.S. Marg is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of engines outside our door. We’ve been here for a few years now and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Inside, it’s usually just a couple of us working. We don't have any corporate polish here. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the chairs are a bit squeaky. We focus on the work instead of the decor. People bring us their tablets and phones when they’re acting up. We spend our days troubleshooting software or replacing charging ports. It’s steady work. Sometimes we have a backlog of repairs, so we stay late and order some food to the shop. We don’t have a big marketing budget. Most of our customers come from word of mouth or people just walking by on Bhatar Road. It’s a simple, local business and we’re happy with how things are going for us right now. We keep a box of rejected parts in the corner for recycling later.
