We’re located right on the Ring Road Pune Nashik Highway in Manchar, at G/20. Being on the highway means we see all sorts of people. Some are just passing through and their phone died, or they need a car charger because they forgot theirs at home. Then we have the local folks from Manchar who come in with cracked screens after working in the fields or the market. The dust from the highway is a constant battle, it gets everywhere no matter how much we sweep. The shop is small and functional. We have a counter that’s seen better days and a couple of stools for customers to wait on. It’s not a place where you’d spend all day, but we try to get things done quickly. There’s always a radio playing somewhere in the background, usually some old songs. We handle a lot of battery replacements because the heat around here really beats them down. It’s just a couple of us working here, usually one person on repairs and another talking to customers. We don't use any fancy software to track things, just a notebook and some pens. If you’re driving down the highway and see the sign, that’s us. It’s a practical spot for practical problems. We just keep our heads down and work on the hardware that comes across the desk, making sure people can stay connected while they travel.
