Mobile Shoppe

Mobile Shoppe is right on Anand Mahal Road, at number 3. It is a small unit in a row of other shops. We have been here for a while, seeing the road get busier and busier every year. Inside, it is pretty simple. We have some glass counters that we have to wipe down constantly because of finger marks. People come in to buy a new phone or get their old one fixed. We carry a bit of everything, from the cheaper models to the ones that cost a lot. I usually handle the sales and my friend does the technical repairs in the little room at the back. It’s a bit messy back there with all the screwdrivers and magnifying glasses. Sometimes we have people waiting out front and we have to tell them to come back in an hour because we have a backlog. We don’t have a fancy waiting area, just a wooden bench against the wall. The door squeaks every time someone opens it, which we should probably fix one of these days. We get a lot of students from the nearby area looking for chargers or headphones. We try to keep prices fair because we know people talk. It’s not a corporate business; it’s just us trying to make a living and helping people stay connected. We stay open late on weekends because that is when most people have time to drop off their devices for repair. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
