Mobile Magic

We have been here at Mobile Magic on Bharthana Basappa Road for a while now. Shanthi Nagar is usually busy in the mornings when people are heading to work. Most days I get here around ten, unlock the front grate, and start wiping down the glass counters. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic passing by outside. I usually keep a small radio playing in the back to keep things from being too quiet. People come in mostly for small things like a new charging cable or to ask why their battery isn't holding a charge like it used to. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because we have boxes of inventory piled up near the back door. The light in the ceiling flickers occasionally but we haven't gotten around to changing the bulb yet. It is just me and one other guy here most afternoons. We sit on these high stools behind the counter and wait for the afternoon rush. Bharthana Basappa Road can get quite noisy around four or five o'clock. Most of the regulars live just a few streets over in Shanthi Nagar and they stop by just to chat sometimes while we work. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Just some shelves with cases and screen guards hanging on hooks. The floor is a bit scuffed from years of people walking in and out. It isn't a huge place, but it works for what we do every day.
