Being on Ring Road 21 means there is never a quiet moment outside the door. Mobile Gallery is right in the middle of all that noise and movement. We have been here for a good while, mostly focusing on whatever people need for their handheld devices. It is a straightforward kind of place. We have shelves lined with boxes and a repair bench in the back that stays pretty messy with tiny screws and tools. Most of the day is spent talking to people about which phone might suit them or why their current one isn't vibrating like it should. Ring Road is a major spot, so we get people from all over, not just the immediate neighbors. It makes the days go by fast. We don't have a lot of space for sitting around, so it is usually a lot of standing and chatting across the counter. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps when you are trying to see the tiny parts inside a phone. We handle a lot of accessories too, like those headphones that always seem to get lost or cables that fray at the ends. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is useful. People rely on their phones for everything now, so when they come to us at number 21, they are usually in a hurry. We do what we can to help them out and get them back on their way. It is just the way the shop runs.
