Mentors

Mentors is located over at F-101 in the Kalash Complex. It’s right on New Sharda Mandir Road, which is a pretty familiar spot for most people living in this part of Surat. The pincode is 395003. We spend most of our day inside this office space. It’s not a huge place, but we have enough room for the students to come in and do their work without bumping into each other too much. Usually, the morning starts with cleaning off the tables and making sure the lights are all working. The road outside can get quite jammed with scooters and cars, especially during the rush hours when everyone is heading home. We often hear the horns honking while we are trying to go through a math problem or some grammar. It’s just part of being in this neighborhood. There are a few other shops and small offices in Kalash Complex, so there is always some movement in the hallways and people talking. We’ve got some bookshelves that are starting to get a bit crowded with old notebooks and guides we’ve collected over the months. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a little clicking noise, but nobody seems to mind it once they get focused on their papers. People usually find us because they live nearby or their friends told them we were here in the F-block. It is a plain, straightforward place where we just focus on the books and getting through the daily lessons.
